HBOT combines oxygen with increased air pressure inside a chamber. Discover how it works, what a session involves, and whether it fits your recovery routine.
HBOT Benefits: What the Research Shows
HBOT increases oxygen availability by allowing more oxygen to dissolve in the blood. In medical care, it can support healing of selected nonhealing wounds and delayed radiation injuries. Cognitive function and long COVID are active research areas: some trials report improvements, while others do not. A small Israeli study found changes in blood-cell aging markers after 60 sessions—not proof of longer life or whole-body regeneration. Results depend on the condition and treatment protocol; medical protocols may differ from sessions offered here. Research indexed by NIH does not imply NIH endorsement or guaranteed benefits.
